Responding to Dr. Buehler: Primary Care Opposes Non-Medical Vaccine Exemptions
On October 15, 2018, in response to Dr. Knute Buehler’s statements on vaccination exemptions during the October 9 gubernatorial debate, OAFP leaders worked with the Oregon ACP and Oregon Pediatric Society to release a joint statement calling on Dr. Buehler to retract his statement and instead adopt the evidence-based positions of the American Medical Association, as well as our national specialty societies. We also sent a letter to his campaign to reinforce our message.
