This year’s conference featured a full slate of special events, including Friday’s Welcome Reception and OAFP Family Doctor of the Year celebration, the May Day Masquerade OAFP Foundation Auction & Dance Showcase, and Doctor’s Jam Sessions on both Friday and Saturday evenings. Saturday highlights included the Congress of Members, Confirming of Fellows and Induction Ceremony, and an in-person poster session — the first since before COVID.
Members should evaluate sessions they have attended using the OAFP 2026 Conference Session Evaluation Form (live May 1). The AAFP has reviewed OAFP Annual Conference: Care That Connects, Rooted in Community and deemed it acceptable for up to 16.25 Live AAFP Prescribed credit(s). Term of Approval is from 05/01/2026 to 05/02/2026. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.
