Grand Rounds: Empowering Patients to Make Changes through the Diabetes Prevention Program

OHSU Grand Rounds presentation by Moira Ray, MD, MPH

Supporting patients to make changes to ward off the development of diabetes can start with identification of risk for diabetes and referral to an evidence-based lifestyle change program such as the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP). During this session, providers will learn about the DPP, hear directly from patients on their experiences with the DPP, and be prepared to refer eligible patients in the future.
