Youth Suicide Assessment in Various Environments for Primary Care Session 1 of 2

Youth SAVE for Primary Care will equip both medical and behavioral health providers with the skills to screen for and intervene with youth experiencing thoughts of suicide, both in person and via telemedicine.
Interactive Virtual Class Sessions will be held on:
(Day 1): Wednesday, May 31 / 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM
(Day 2): Thursday, June 1 / 7:00 AM – 10:30 AM
Learning Objectives
- Apply an equity lens to suicide prevention with youth
- Identify needs, risks, resiliency factors, and challenges related to suicide among youth
- Conduct suicide assessment and intervention with youth
- Identify resiliency factors for youth, incorporating them into a collaborative safety plan
- Identify needs, protocols, and tools related to suicide assessment and intervention among youth
- Identify and connect to local resources for support with suicide prevention with youth
