Commissions, Committees and Task Forces
Executive Committee
Convened when an important decision must be made and there is not time to engage the whole board of directors.
Bylaws Committee
Created when the current bylaws need to be reviewed and revised.
Finance Committee
Consults with staff as needed on fiscal affairs and prepares the annual budget.
Nominating Committee
Selected at the summer meeting and reports their slate of candidates at the fall board meeting.
Commission on Education
Develops the program for the annual meeting, identifies faculty and provides additional programming assistance if needed.
Task Force on Health Impacts
Dedicated to improving health impacts for Oregonians.
Commission on External Affairs
Responsible for staying up to date on state and federal legislative and regulatory issues. Develop position papers, participate in coalition development and oversee Key Contacts Program.
Task Force on Membership
Dedicated to providing value, opportunities and community for members. Participates in member outreach for recruitment and retention.
