H.R. 1 Administrative Changes Deep Dive Webinar

ORH invites you to the next webinar in our series on how H.R. 1, the federal budget reconciliation law signed in July 2025, will affect Medicaid and rural healthcare in Oregon.

Presented by Nexus Health Strategies, this session takes a closer look at the administrative changes coming to the Oregon Health Plan (OHP). This includes six-month eligibility redeterminations for many adults and more frequent renewals. Presenters will also walk through new verification steps, such as address updates, and what they could mean for members and the staff who support them.

These changes will shape the work ahead under the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). RHTP dollars cannot backfill Medicaid cuts, but understanding what the changes are and when they go into effect can help us use those funds as strategically as possible.

This webinar is open to anyone working in or alongside rural health in Oregon: hospital and clinic staff, health workers, public health and community partners.
