Medical Office, Chemawa Indian Health Center, Salem
We are a  primary care primary care home serving American Indians and Alaskan Natives including serving hundreds of adolescents who reside at the Chemawa Indian School.  In addition to medical services, the clinic provides pharmacy, laboratory, optometry, dental, and integrated mental health services to our patients.

The position qualifies for loan repayment under both the Indian Loan Repayment Program provided through the IHS and the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment program with a high medical need score.  Either of these can provide up to $50,000 of loan repayment over 2 years and can be renewed thereafter in annual increments.  Neither of these is guaranteed and requires a separate application to the specific program in question.

Orchid Health – Physician and Medical Director Position
About Us-Orchid Health is a rural health clinic group that seeks to transform how primary care is provided in rural communities. Physician Responsibilities
• Provide primary care to patients in a professional and personable manner, leading to trust, engagement, and positive health outcomes
• Display professionalism and maintain a calm demeanor with patients and clinical team
• Respond to patient lab, imaging, and referral results in a timely manner
• Accurately and efficiently chart patient visits via Electronic Health Record system
• Be able to see and complete charts for up to 14 patients per day
• Coordinate with the Orchid care team to identify care gaps and implement quality improvement projects necessary in order to deliver the highest quality of patient care
• Clearly communicate with staff and owners at all times

Medical Director Responsibilities

• Monitor quality and appropriateness of medical care: Review at least (15) patient medical charts per quarter and document findings; communicate findings with owners
• Participate in various administrative/clinical trainings and staff meetings to include QI planning, strategic planning, and clinic growth
• Assist with evaluation of staff performance levels, quality of service, productivity and community needs
• Ensure that the clinic is prepared to respond to medical emergency situations
• Motivate staff to uphold areas of improvement that have been identified

Experience Required

• Must be eligible for Oregon licensure and be board certified
• Experience in an urgent care and/or rural setting is preferred due to clinic’s rural location


• $210,000 to $225,000 salary

Community Health Centers of Benton and Linn Counties
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the development of a fully integrated primary care home in Sweet Home Oregon.  Become part of a multi-disciplinary team providing patient centered primary care in an integrated model of service delivery.  CHC is a growing Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with clinic sites in Corvallis, Monroe, Alsea, and Lebanon, Oregon. Clinical Volunteer Opportunities:

North by Northeast Community Health Center has been open since August of 2006, caring for uninsured adults in the surrounding inner Northeast and North Portland neighborhoods. We focus on the care of uncomplicated diabetes and hypertension, and provide free prescription medication and lab monitoring as well as medical visits. We rely entirely on volunteers to staff our weekly clinics. Many of our new patients have been looking for help for a long time and walk through our door expecting to find more obstacles to getting what they need. Seeing people leave with relief and a smile on their face makes it all worthwhile. While none of us alone can fix the problems with our health care system, we can make a real difference in people’s lives. The Wallace Medical Concern. For 25 years the Wallace Medical Concern has provided no cost health care for our uninsured neighbors in Portland, Gresham and the metro area. Wallace Medical Concern provides 3 basis services: 1) Direct patient care that includes acute care and limited specialty care in evening and periodic all-day clinics; 2) Coordination of patient referrals to facilitate access to primary care homes and follow-up specialty care; and 3) Facilitation and support for on-site training for medical students and residents to help foster a culture of commitment to community service and provide a platform for civic engagement.

As a volunteer-based health clinic, The Wallace Medical Concern literally could not open our clinic doors without our healthcare professionals, and the medical students and residents who volunteer at our clinic. We invite you to explore ways to use your talents to help people in need. Our Gresham Clinic is open to patients Monday and Wednesday evenings, and we ask our providers to arrive at 7 pm.  In addition Wallace has a Downtown Portland Clinic on Thursday evenings, and we ask our providers to arrive at 7 pm.  Three hours a month is all we need from you to make a significant difference in a patient’s life.  This year we will provide over 3,600 patient visits.
