Each webinar will take approximately 1 hour to complete. \nAbout Youth SAVE for Primary Care \nYouth SAVE (Suicide Assessment in Various Environments) equips medical providers with the youth\, equity\, and evidence-based skills and tools to assess and intervene with youth who have thoughts of suicide. As a participant of Youth SAVE\, this training will educate and challenge you to: \n– Understand and apply an equity lens to suicide prevention with youth in medical settings \n– Understand and identify needs\, risks\, resiliency factors\, and challenges related to suicide among youth  \n– Understand and identify needs\, protocols\, and tools related to suicide assessment and intervention among youth in medical settings \n– Conduct suicide assessment and intervention with youth in medical settings \n– Incorporate resiliency factors for the youth and incorporate them into a collaborative safety plan \n– Identify and connect to local resources for support with suicide prevention with youth. \nThe Youth SAVE for Primary Care training consists of 9 hours to be completed by participants over multiple days. The training format is two 3.5-hour virtual class sessions and two 1-hour webinars to be completed independently. The live training uses Zoom\, and we require participants to have their camera on for the duration of virtual class sessions. If this isn’t possible for you during these training dates\, please let us know and we would be happy to place you on our email list to notify you of future Youth SAVE training opportunities. \nIf you are unable to attend both of these dates but are interested in attending a future training\, please email youth.SAVE@oraap.org for updates as more training sessions are scheduled. \nIf you have any questions\, please contact us at Youth.SAVE@oraap.org.
