DESCRIPTION:Youth SAVE for Primary Care will equip both medical and behavioral health providers with the skills to screen for and intervene with youth experiencing thoughts of suicide\, both in person and via telemedicine. \nInteractive Virtual Class Sessions will be held on: \n(Day 1): Wednesday\, May 31 / 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM \n(Day 2): Thursday\, June 1 / 7:00 AM – 10:30 AM \nLearning Objectives\n\nApply an equity lens to suicide prevention with youth\nIdentify needs\, risks\, resiliency factors\, and challenges related to suicide among youth\nConduct suicide assessment and intervention with youth\nIdentify resiliency factors for youth\, incorporating them into a collaborative safety plan\nIdentify needs\, protocols\, and tools related to suicide assessment and intervention among youth\nIdentify and connect to local resources for support with suicide prevention with youth\n\nCME\nThis activity has been approved for up to 8.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM \nTarget Audience\nMedical providers and clinic staff \nQuestions\nyouth.save@oraap.org
